Studio Scampi were engaged to design the reinstatement, refurbishment and extension of an existing house which had suffered severe fire damage. The house sits on the edge of the shingle on the South Coast and was originally constructed around a 19th Century timber railway carriage.

 

The project delivers a complete internal refurbishment to the existing house, as well as a new extension constructed on the first floor, providing a master bedroom, en suite and an additional balcony.
